Schön eingerichtetes Appartement, direkt an der Hauptstraße der Altstadt von Dubrovnik gelegen, lediglich die Treppen in den ersten Stock, ansonsten problemlos auch für ältere Personen mit Gepäck zu erreichen. Das Bett hat 160 cm (dürfte gerne etwas breiter sein), ist aber sehr bequem. Die Küche ist mit einem Satz Geschirr für 4 Personen ausgestattet + Kochgeschirr. Großer Kühlschrank und Eisfach. Zwei Klimaanlagen, eine im Wohnbereich, eine im Schlafzimmer. Das Frühstück gibt es direkt gegenüber. Es besteht aus einem Glas frisch gepresstem Orangensaft und einem Kaffee. Dazu kann man zwischen Continentalem Frühstück: Croissant, Toast mit Marmelade, Honig und Butter oder einer Eierspeise mit Toast wählen. Eigentlich gäbe es nichts zu bemängeln, wenn da nicht der Geräuschpegel wäre ...

Die tolle zentrale Lage bezahlt man leider mit einem sehr hohen Lärmpegel, dessen sollte man sich bewusst sein. Im Lokal gegenüber gibt es Klaviermusik mit Gesang bis ca. 24.00 Uhr, gerne singen Gäste auch mal lautstark mit. Mitten in der Nacht gibt es gelegentlich Heimkehrer, denen ihre schlafenden Mitmenschen leider ziemlich egal sind. Um 5.50 Uhr kommt die Müllabfuhr, deren geräuschintensive Arbeit dauert etwa 20 Minuten - täglich! Um 7.00 Uhr wird dann noch das Altglas abgeholt. Wen das nicht stört, oder wer mit Ohropax gut schlafen kann, hat dennoch ein tolles, sehr ansprechendes Appartement. Eine Kleinigkeit noch - Eine Ablage für Duschutensilien in der Dusche wäre toll.

It was literally in the thick of things and had been modernized perfectly. Also, I noticed a lot of other accommodation required dragging suitcases up a lot of external stairs so this was perfect for me!!

Nothing really. It was a little noisy at night and during the night as the streets were cleaned but that came with the choice of location. It didn’t bother me!

Schöne Wohnung mit 2 Zimmern. Die zentrale Lage ist auf der einen Seite positiv.

Das Bett und auch die Schlafcouch waren leider etwas durchgelegen und sollten langsam gegen neue Möbel getauscht werden. Die zentrale Lage hat den großen Nachteil dass es praktisch rund um die Uhr laut ist. Eine Nachtruhe gab es während unserer Zeit praktisch leider nicht.

The apartment itself is nice and clean. The AC and WiFi worked well. We got the access code to the apartment at check-in time. The property is managed by an agency so the communication is a bit robotic but it works.

The apartment is located at main street of old city and there is no proper sound isolation in the apartment. Till 2-3 a.m. there is lots of noise from people walking around and having fun and then when one finally gets to fall asleep one gets awaken at 6 a.m. because the city collects the general trash just in front of the windows of the apartment and it takes around an hour before they are done. After that, another trash car comes to collect glass which is even more noisy...and then the paper....We were really tired after 3 days like this. Unless you need a little sleep only, I would not recommend this apartment due to the noise (even if the apartment itself is very nice). We also didn't like the breakfast - very basic options and the people in the cafe were rude. The apartment is not cheap so taking into account the above 2 points (noise and basic breakfast in unpleasant vibe) it was definitely not worth the money.
