The location is perfect. It's right by gorice bridge , close to a few restaurants and shops. The views from the garden and the private double rooms give you the best of berat without having to walk uphill for it. We met the volunteer aline, who was very welcoming and helpful. They let us leave our bags there after the checkout the next day whilst we explored the town for a few hours before our bus was scheduled.

No complaints whatsoever.

It was easy to get to if you had a car and was in a great location to walk around. Staff very helpful. Booked a wine tour with pick up for us and helped with other trip planning. Included breakfast was delicious

Beds were too hard for my liking but everybody is different

I had a private room which was adequate for one person but would be a little crowded with two. I had a nice balcony that overlooked the river, the city and the beautiful bridges.

There were quite a few long dark hairs on the floor in the bedroom, the bathroom, and on the bedding. I asked the staff about hiking in the area but they didn't know. It is fairly easy to hear through the doors, thankfully people on my floor were quiet and went to bed at a reasonable hour but if people have been coming and going it would have been disruptive. There is also a cocktail bar right next door which on two of the three nights started to play music at 6:00 p.m. and went until past midnight

Great view! Huge terrace and large indoor common area. Good breakfast.

I might have caught them at a bad moment, but the dorm smelled musty and some slats supporting the mattress in my bed were broken. No hand soap was provided in the dorm bathroom. Bathroom floor was almost always wet. Payment note - prices are in Euro and they give an unfavourable rate if paying in Lek (about 10% off the official rate), so pay in Euro if you have the cash.
