Chaweng Regent Beach Resort

Loved the location, pools and staff.

The same certain nationality of guests that refused to abide by the no smoking in the pool rules and not using the designated area and using their own speaker to blast out the tranquility of the pool where people were trying to relax and read and paddle about the pool but couldn't as they had no regard for others and it being their holiday as well even when told to turn the music off they didn't. They turned it down for 5 mins then turned it back up. Use the beach if you want to scream at each other over the music no one wants to hear. The bar pool man Joe Joe tried to politely tell them to no avail. The same people smoked at breakfast, shouted to each other the whole time, saved pool chairs and not turn up till 2pm and tell the people in the chairs off. It was the talk of the resort. I was also told that June/ July was their peak time not September. Unfortunately Koh Samui has a reputation for these people and if it isn't controlled fast it will ruin the future reputation of the island and stop people from coming but apart from them we enjoyed the resort and the helpful staff and great location.

Great location for restaurants, shoppings, massages, beachfront, fantastic pools especially the one with the pool bar. Low rise and individual stand alone units.

Needs a bit of maintenance with regards to walking decks around the facility. Property looks a little tired. Breakfast was OK, but not enough fruit variety.

The facility and breakfast as well as the prime location are exceptional.

1. Adding Oat milk to the breakfast would be highly recommended. 2. Towels in the swimming pool are available only as of 09:00 am and not earlier... 3. The morning exercises could include dynamic sessions. However these are minor top tear recommended additions, which should not interfere your choice with choosing this Hotel. It is truly an outstanding Hotel.

Die Pool-Bereiche waren sehr schön und die Anlage hatte grüne Bereiche und strahlt trotz der schlechten Lagen ruhe aus. Das von uns gewählte Zimmer war sehr groß und gut Ausgestattet.

Die Lage war in Startbereich des Flughafens wir wurden um 6:30 Uhr von den ersten Maschinen geweckt. Das Hotel ist angeblich ein 5 Sterne Hotel, dies können wir aber vom Service nicht bestätigen. Die überall aufgestellten Hinweisschilder wie z. B. kein Essen/Trinken im Pool, Kaffee nicht aus dem Frühstücksbereich mitnehmen, der auch nicht am Tisch serviert wurde. Ich würde diese Schilder in einer Jugendherberge erwarten nicht aber in einem 5 Sterne Hotel, aber vielleicht liegt dies an dem Publikum welches das Hotel bucht.
