Hotel Columbia

I was veey comfortable and it made me feel veey safe as a female solo traveller.

I booked this hotel almost at random, but I could hardly have chosen better. The location is fantastic: right in the centre of Palermo, yet on a quiet street. All the main sights are within walking distance, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The bus and train connections to the airport are about a 10-20-minute walk away. The hotel is fairly simple, and the rooms are plainly furnished, but everything was clean and functional. My room was on the third floor overlooking the courtyard. There was a restaurant terrace opposite, but it closed at around 10 p.m., so the nights were quiet. There is no lift in the building but it was no problem for me. The wifi worked well throughout my stay. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. and offers a typical Italian selection, including fresh croissants. The reception staff were very helpful. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would not hesitate to choose this hotel again.

Everything was adequate. Maybe, just to write something, the coffee from the machine (for breakfast) could be better.

Everything was spotless and everyone there were very helpful and nice!

Old AC

Staff was really nice, breakfast was ok and location was great The bed linen was clean and upon request we immediately received additional towels

everything is quite old and needs renovation, the walls are dirty, the bed is wired and moves at the slightest movement, the bathroom is too small and even washing your hair is a problem it's not very clean, the floors are dirty
