The location of the hotel is excellent and close to the main attractions. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Breakfast buffet is good. The room was spacious and had a decent sized bathroom. Staff were excellent. Tons of restaurants nearby.

We understood that the hotel is under renovation BUT I don't think the hotel were fourth coming about the EXTENT of those renos. The courtyard was totally closed and was basically scaffolding and tarps. The front of the hotel was not recognizable and again scaffolding and tarps. Both our taxis to and from the airport could not find the hotel as the name was covered and did not even resemble a hotel. The bar was closed and the wall was a plastic covering with construction paper on the floor. Getting ice was challenging although the front desk staff did a their very best finding it for us. If we had of known the extent of this renovation project we probably would not have booked there. We do believe we would have rated the hotel a 9 had we been able to use all of the facilities.

The Hotel Fontaine's du Luxembourg, exceeded our expectations. Mourad the manager and his staff went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. This hotel was a highlight for my sister and I. We loved the location the ambience of the property and the surrounding area with a shot stroll to the Luxembourg Park was wonderful. The room was small, however cosy with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. This is very typical of this area. There is a lift in the property, the aircon was cool and functioning well and our room was completely sound proof. I would like to mention the beautiful breakfast that was served everyday by the most but amazing "Dellal" she was our welcome to the morning and would send us on our way with a cool bottle of water. The Latin Quarter, was so very Parisian and a very easy walk to most of the main attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel and this location.

I think the location was very good easy to access things in Paris itself. I think the staff were very helpful and pleasant. However the location was not very good if you are going to be using an Uber or taxi it's a very narrow street and Uber had a hard time finding location for a pick up.

The rooms are extremely small my wife and I are in our 70s and the room was very tight. We could not even unpack our luggage. or walk around the room together because it was so small. The elevator that services the room barely holds two people. You can't get two people and a piece of luggage in the elevator. On the last day, the elevator was broken and we had to climb four flights of stairs since we were on the fourth floor. In addition we had to carry down our luggage four flights of stairs. I think if are 60's or 70' would not use this hotel.
