Hotel Frochot Montmartre

The bed was very comfortable. The room was a decent size for Paris. The room had a little fridge and a Krups coffee machine. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk walk from Pigalle Metro. About an hour from CDG airport by metro and RER train. The staff were very helpful, storing our bags for a few hours and freezing something for us. The air-conditioning was effective. The curtains blocked the light, so we slept well.

The room must be above the Metro line, so there was the fairly consistent rumbling of trains. The air-conditioning was a bit noisy, but it was OK, because it muffled the train rumbling!! The price was quite high for a night... but that's Paris.

Zimmer/ Bad etwas klein

The location was very good

Breakfast was not very good and couldn’t have a hot drink in the evening. I said about this and was told “you have tea and coffee in your room” I actually don’t drink coffee and the only available tea was camomile or earl grey, which is also something we don’t drink. When we came to leave “Henry” said you can’t have breakfast because you haven’t paid for it, luckily I printed all my booking details which proved we had. But in my honest opinion I think he was rather rude how he spoke to us. I for one will NOT be staying here again and I shall say as much when I write my TripAdvisor review. On the whole it was at best rather disappointing! I have added a few examples of breakfast (if you can call it that) and tables left with dirty crockery
