Bordoy Continental Palma

The staff were efficient and courteous. The lobby was beautiful and every inch of the public areas were absolutely immaculate. The breakfast was very good, great choice at buffet and also cooked breakfast. The location was perfect for the Old Town, Cathedral and the modern shopping areas Numerous restaurants and bars nearby. Very large immaculate, comfortable bedrooms with great sound proofing and huge bathroom.

The only issue I could see was the bathrooms need a bit of TLC, they are clean but a little shabby.

First of all, the location is excellent. It’s only a 4–5 minute walk from the airport bus stop, and there are other public transport stops nearby for getting to the beach or the central station. Even the central station is only about a 20-minute walk at a relaxed pace. The historic centre is also very close, around 10 minutes on foot along one of the main shopping streets, with plenty of shops and cafés along the way. The staff were amazing. From reception to the restaurant, everyone we met was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. Our room and bathroom were both very spacious, clean and comfortable. We also really appreciated the little extras, such as complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee, and fresh water every day. And last but definitely not least… THE BREAKFAST! Honestly, it was amazing. In addition to a very good buffet with a wide variety of cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, cakes, yoghurts and more, you can also order freshly prepared hot dishes. The Eggs Benedict were so good that we had them every single day! Overall, we had a wonderful stay from start to finish and would happily stay here again. Absolutely recommended

The only thing that could be improved is the soundproofing between the rooms, as noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard quite easily. We were a little unlucky to have noisy neighbours above us and on both sides during our stay.

Atmosphere was nice. Clean, comfortable. Nice choice of breakfast. Friendly staff. Walking distance to old town centre (20 mins). Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately no outside space (garden etc)

Old style hotel, no swimming pool, central but not what I would call a good value. Good for old couples . Large rooms and bathrooms. Noisy at night because of the street. Nice staff at the lobby.
