In my opinion, and contrary to other reviews, the menue should include fresh local qusine at more reasonable prices. I felt that 20€ for a plate of inedibale overcooked chips and four small pieces of lamb was outright expensive. It's not difficult to cook tasty chips. Boil the potatoes untill almost cooked. Cut into large slices. Fry to seal the chip on the outside. Take out and drain on a paper towel. Then quickly cook a second time; with the result that you get a crispy chip with soft fluffy potato inside. Simple.

Everything was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and toilet were very clean. The food was superb and well priced.

Stunning location overlooking the Atlantic. Spacious rooms with fantastic views. Large enclosed garden was great for the children. Owners and staff warm and friendly.

A oasis before you climb, not walk to the faro.lovely hotel and great food . But! Do NOT do the walk to the lighthouse if you are in anyway scared of heights or inexperienced.. regardless of what some guides might say, this is serious and potentially dangerous hiking for experienced only

Leaving . I am an experienced hiker and I cannot emphasise enough, inexperieced unfit and vertigo its a taxi to the lighthouse. You have been warned!!!
