Moderna do Geres Hotel

Great location ,friendly staff

Flight delayed , checked in late around 1am we were told the key would be in the door of our room, when we tried to get in the chain was on from the inside as I tried to get it open people started shouting, there were guests inside sleeping. Had to call the number for hotel and they gave us another room . Luckily it was a couple and not a single female otherwise would of been quite scary

GREAT location. Fantastic breakfast. Room good. Parking on property Management great

Clean and well-maintained hotel with daily housekeeping. The breakfast is basic but perfectly adequate. Free parking is available below the hotel, with plenty of spaces. For the easiest access, it is recommended to approach the hotel from the lower part of town. The town center is within walking distance, and a shortcut via the stairs from the lower street makes it even quicker to reach. A good choice for travelers looking for a convenient location, beautiful views over the town, and easy parking.

The breakfast was good overall, but I would have appreciated a plain yogurt option, as only sweetened yogurt was available. A wider variety of fruit would also have been welcome.

Rooms and bathroom were tiny, we got a spider in our bed.
