Palazzo Tasso

After another hotel canceled our booking just a week before our trip, we were relieved to find availability here at the last minute. Unfortunately, several issues affected our four-day stay. The room was small, and the slanted ceiling made it easy to hit your head. The main problem, however, was the air conditioning. It barely cooled the room and leaked water all over the floor. Someone came to repair it on the evening of our second day, and we were told it was fixed. After returning from an event, we found another pool of water on the floor. A further repair on our final night seemed to resolve the issue for the remainder of that night. Although we received an apology, no gesture was offered to acknowledge the inconvenience, not even a bottle of water. With the problem continuing through most of our stay, some effort to make it right would have been appreciated. The hotel is in a great location. The elevator is small, and the bed was short but comfortable. If you are considering staying here, I would suggest looking into the larger rooms on the first floor and confirming that the air conditioning issues have been resolved.

Facility

The property located in the center of Sorrento in the pedestrian only street , the ferry and train station 10 minutes walking distance. The balcony was a plus after a busy day sitting outside people watching. Viviana and Stephanie are wonderful hosts helping us a lot.

We liked everything about the hotel

The location was by far second to none. I had a balcony which allowed me to enjoy the night life without walking, which I did all that day. The building is center of the main road and close to everything

The shower was really small but definitely not a show stopper. The amenities such as refrigerator, safe, and Desk makes up for the lack of shower space. Overall not much to dislike the place is awesome

Good location, clean and fresh

It was noisy, both from the street and the staircase outside our door. The small room and bathroom was overpriced for the size and service
