The Lawn Hotel

Staff, location and large car park

Nothing

Breakfast included was a good feature and the food was good.

Having drink making facilities in the room would have been nice.

Location was fantastic for were we needed to be

The outside looked like a building site in the parking lot did not feel my car was safe

This review is for Parkside International hotel (next door and under the same ownership) which the staff kindly moved me to due to there being big issues in my room I had booked at The Lawn hotel and there was no way I could sleep in the bed. Parkside International hotel is clean with very spacious rooms with ensuite and helpful staff who are on hand and quick to attend to any questions or issues you may have. The breakfast in the morning was also very tasty with generous portions. The hotel is in a fairly safe and leafy area of Reading with fast road connections and a bus stop on the main road. After checking out after my stay I requested a taxi from there it arrived in less than 4 minutes.

The water in the shower could have been a little warmer.
