Heritage Hotel is located right in the middle of downtown Tawau. On the same street are Chinese and Malay restaurants as well as convenience stores, while within walking distance you can also find taxi stands, banks and a supermarket. The bedroom itself is modern, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff. The free WiFi worked well.

The bathroom was rather dated and dingy with old, stained tiles. This was a shame given the attractiveness of the room itself. The television had only 5 channels. There was no minibar in the room. My room faced a 24-hour cafe which got pretty noisy at certain times, even in the wee hours of the morning.

This place was awful! dirty, tiered decoration, dimly lit, sad feel to the place, broken tiles, uncomfortable bed, flip flops required when walking around the room, bathroom and shower! a real dive of a hotel, don't think the surrounding area was particularly great either

Need to change the towels, look worn out
