Beautiful location surrounded by mountains, a lake and a pretty garden. Comfy rooms with really cool vintage decor. Easy location to drive around all of the lake District.
Some of the appliances could do with an upgrade - they still work, but for example the temperature dial is broken in the downstairs shower.

The property was the perfect size for our group, it was well stocked and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we weren’t living on top of each other all week.
Although there were two toilets and showers, we could have done with more for the size of the group

This was a perfect find. We are a group of open water swimmers and even managed to walk out of the house for a swim. There is plenty of space and a great fire in the lounge. Great value and lovely owner.
To be honest, nothing. It isn’t boutique but you aren’t paying that sort of price.
