Megan who met us was attentive, charming and checked up on us during the stay. The central location was excellent. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. It was an excellent place to stay for 2 nights, and met all our needs.

This applies to all accommodation rented out - it is becoming essential to have an inverter or something to keep the lights/power on. We managed and were not too inconvenienced as we spent very little time at the apartment and there were back up portable lights for reading. But I think if you are paying good money, this should be a given. The apartment is very well located on the main road - but this does mean some road noise (to be expected). For a 2 night stay, that wasn't a problem - but you can hear trucks during the night. Granted, it was a particularly busy weekend, so there is probably less traffic at other times. There are Bodems /coffee makers etc - but no ground coffee is supplied for them. Take your own - and your own rusks, shampoo, cotton wool etc. These little welcome touches were not provided. It did not detract from the stay - the apartment was well equipped and very lovely.

Poor cleanliness. Apartment is situated on the corner of the main intersection, very noisy and not conducive if you are travelling with a young toddler. No housekeeping for 3 days. No alternate electricity solutions for loadshedding. The property manager moved our check in to a later time to accommodate other guests who notified her of a late check out. She was not present at the property when we were checking in and we had waited 30 minutes for her. When we requested an hour later check out we were turned down. The dishes are dirty as well as the apartment in general. Floors, patio, cupboards, under the beds. No fitted sheets on the beds. No change of towels. All in all, less than average experience. Owners need to be more involved.

Flawlessly clean and only a short walk to the main town and wine tram. Spacious apartment with two great bedrooms. Megan was also fabulous and so quick to respond.

The Apartment is Big and spacious. I loved the garden, there is air conditioning which was perfect because it was hot during our stay. Wi-Fi very good. it was clean, Megan is vey kind and Thank you. will definitely book again.

It has a "home" feeling to it. Everything one needs for a holiday. Perfectly located, walking distance to all of Franschhoek and specially if you want to do The Wine Tram. The house was prepared for the SA power cuts with candles and lights which we really appreciated.

Would have preferred a shower in the second bathroom too, but one makes a plan around it.

Location is good, apartment is tidy & well stocked with everything you need for a self catering getaway. The garden is a nice touch, useful if you want to take your pets with you - not that we did, but we would next time for sure. The load shedding lights available in the flat are great! Our host, Megan was very helpful & quick to respond to requests. Would absolutely stay at Maison Des Huguenots Le Roux again.
