Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, ist sowohl die Lage als auch die Parksituation perfekt. Ins Stadtzentrum von Ljubljana kommt man problemlos innerhalb von ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Bus, der direkt vor dem Hotel abfährt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten gemütlich und das Bad ebenfalls groß und mit allem (zum Beispiel Föhn) ausgestattet. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und man konnte zwischen verschiedenen warmen (Eier auf verschiedene Art zubereitet und Pfannkuchen) und kalten Speisen (Müsli, Obst, Brötchen mit verschiedenen Aufstrichen) wählen. Der Self-Check-In verlief vollkommen problemlos.

Eigentlich hat uns alles gefallen. Das Hotel liegt schon recht außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, was wir aber genau so wollten, und man wäre von dort auch schnell in der Natur. Wenn man die Buslinien richtig einschätzt, ist es aber auch für eine Städtereise hundertprozentig zu empfehlen.

It was not indicated during booking that the room will be on the ground floor and the "view" will be on the parking lot. That means we could not be with natural light (curtains open) during the day because we did not want that anybody from the parking lot look into the room and we could not sleep with open window during the summer heat. All of this could be avoided if another room category was defined to show a room category on the ground floor and then we could have decided accordingly whether to choose this hotel. Poor service: actually service almost non-existing in this hotel, staff is not present after noon, so you cannot turn to anybody if you have any issue. Not even a vending machine is present in the entrance area, although it is usual even in cheaper hostels. So if you arrive on a Sunday or public holiday when everything is closed around then your only option is to drink warm beer from the not-working minifridge in the room. Poor maintenance and design: the refrigerator did not cool because it is locked in a cabinet so it cannot transfer the heat and it cannot operate properly. Many things around the room are loose, worn-out and would need just an easy fix (e.g. bathroom tap, toilet paper holder, switch of the night lamp, a connector next to the elevator sticks out of the wall, etc). The air in the corridor (in front of the rooms) were several times used and stinky and it took only to open the window. This shows a complete negligence towards the residents. What all that together this hotel offers a very low value for its price.
