Great little street food set up immediately to the right of 7/11. Walk to Secret/Beautiful beach then walk back along the beach to Nautilus at low tide. Main Long Beach is a few minutes walk away - rocky beach to navigate to get there but very easy. Wifi speed 130 by the loungers!

They do an excellent job here. The only suggestion would be a guest drinking water dispenser that we have seen elsewhere.

Es ist wirklich eine sehr schöne Anlage. Klein aber fein. Die Bungalows sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich. Chaya und ihr Team sind wahnsinnig nett. Vor allem Maprang ist ein Sonnenschein und steht einem immer zu Seite.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist super. Ein Pool für die 10 erfüllen 🙂

Service staff was friendly. Arranging scooters was easy via the hotel.

Value for money was very poor - my recommendation would be to either pay a 20% up price for the Layana hotel or pay 80% less for a hotel with similar facilities. Facilities were overall poor/rundown in the accommodation. The curtain rail fell down, a bedside lamp didn’t work upon arrival, and the air conditioning needed repairing one evening. Breakfast was also not as versatile as other hotels. We assume the high price tag is related to the location (‘right on the beach’), but as the beach is fairly rocky anyway, we’d walk/drive to another beach about 50-150m down the road. Alternatively the price tag may be justified by the hotel due to the ‘adults only’ tag, but if that’s what you’re after, simply choose a hotel that doesn’t have a pool. We found that implied fewer children by default. When we rented scooters via the hotel and tried to negotiate the price, they said it wasn’t possible as they didn’t manage the service. However when we changed hotel after our 6 night stay, they did not allow us to carry over the scooters as then (all of a sudden) it was managed by them and linked to our staying there.

This place is wonderful. It’s location is perfect, it feels secluded though there’s access to all services. The sounds of nature add a lovely, relaxed ambience. The staff are lovely, always smiling, always helpful, always busy! The bed was comfortable and the bungalow was clean and private. The daily water delivery was nice. Breakfast was a highlight of each day. The daily fruit platter was a delight. The coffee was good. We will definitely return!

If we are being picky, a larger breakfast menu selection would be an added bonus but that is probably because we stayed a while and we are struggling to think of anything that this place could do better! We think many people just stay a couple of nights then move on so it’s not something that is on most peoples radar.

Amazing friendly staff who treat you like family. Brilliant location on the beach. The bungalows were so clean and cosy. The food and cocktails were superb. The grounds of the property are beautiful, the gardeners do an amazing job.

It was in a beautiful location and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had a free upgrade and welcome drinks. They helped us sort an affordable taxi to the ferry the following morning too. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy. It is a cabin vibe but they had nets and we didn’t find any bug/insect problems.

Everything at Nautilus was amazing. The staff helped us with everything we needed, including renting a scooter, setting up the 4 island tour, the food at the hotel was amazing, I thought the breakfast was the best that we had on our trip and the curries they made were great, too.

It might be difficult to walk places but it didn’t matter since we rented the scooter.

I travel a lot with my SO, we’ve stayed at many hotels but we can honestly say that the Nautilus is our favourite. We originally intended on staying for a night before moving on to another island but we fell in love with the room, the staff, and the resort. The hotel is set on the beach, with several islands visible in the distance on a clear day. The water is crystal clear and there is a tidal pool for those who are interested in spotting some nature (like us). The hotel has a bar on the beach which serves cocktails and some delicious food - the Pad Thai is excellent! There are deck chairs and sun loungers as well as sit down tables. In the evening there is a charcoal barbecue and sometimes fire spinning on the beach! The hotel is extremely helpful, they have scooters and a tuk tuk available and go above and beyond to help plan and arrange excursions. We went on a 2 island snorkelling trip which was incredible! The hotel called the bank without us asking them to, to ensure that we could pay by card to make our lives easier. Finally, I’d like to mention the staff. The hotel has a family-run-feel, the staff are friendly, happy and always greet you with a smile. They were one of the highlights of our trip and we can’t wait to come back to see them again. A short walk along the seafront you find long beach, there are lots of resorts and lots of people. The nautilus hotel provided us with a quiet, secluded, child-free slice of paradise. We’ll now return home and endure our post-holiday blues but we’ll be back!

Everything was perfect for our stay.Beautiful on the beach location with delightful private accommodation in beach bungalow, comfy bed, sun beds, great breakfast dinner beside the ocean, waking up to sound of birds and wildlife. Lovely creams , oils in fantastic outside shower ( not fully- only partly open at the top) fridge, air con, coffee/tea making in rooms, snorkels to borrow for free. But it is the staff and the lovely owners who really make this stay special. They really go over and above the norm to help you make the most of your stay. From organising transport on arrival, trips, scooters, and our ongoing journey I can honestly say this is the best stay we have had during our month in Thailand. special thanks to Mayprang and Kim and the lovey gentleman in the bar. This property maintains it Thai origin and charm whilst delivering exceptional service-don’t hesitate to stay here.

- The hotel is right next to rented villas with a pool that had screaming children all day. - When we checked out it was not possible to pay with card and the atms nearby didn’t work, so we spend 1,5 hours getting enough cash on the last day. - No water pressure in the shower. - Only possible to swim in the ocean sometimes, depending on the tide.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms were comfortable (particularly the bed) and the location great as away from the bustle yet close enough. Wifi worked really well and there was great air-conditioning. The hotel is small enough to allow natural conversation with other guests (if you head to the bar), but also can keep to you are looking for quiet alone time. Some other reviews complained about mosquitoes and the outdoor bathroom. My experience was quite the opposite. The outdoor bathroom was a lovely ritual to take cold showers in. As long as you kept the bathroom door closed to the main room (and the bedroom lights off), you don't run the risk of having mosquitoes in your room. And they are only really active at dusk. I recommend getting a scooter from them as it really gives you access to the whole island and Nautilus' location is super central. The little beach is great to cool off on, but what I enjoyed most was chilling on the bungalow veranda to the sound of the waves. Alongside the kind and helpful service given by Khun Chaya and her whole staff.

We did not have a breakfast plan so explored different places. There were many. The food for lunch and diner was excellent. The staff at the bar and food service were great. The location was okay. There is a beach but you can't really swim due to to many rocks in the water. SO we went daily across the rocks down to the big beach with no rocks.

This is a little paradise. Very nice bungalow in the nature, waking up with the sound of the birds and sea, very relaxing. Staff was very nice, receptionist solved all our questions. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Restaurant has good food and bar good cocktails. We didn't want to leave

To say something, I would improve coffee and breakfast but they are a small accomodation so i understand there aren't many options for breakfast as big hotels

The staff at the Nautilus Resort are wonderful and made us feel right at home. They will organize transportation from the Krabi airport and any excursions you would like to go on. The bungalows are cozy and clean and the food is good. Sunset cocktails and dinner on the beach was magical.
