Simply the best self catering accommodation I've ever stayed in! Spacious, extremely well and beautifully equipped in a great location near the centre of Fishguard with everything you could possibly need within short walking distance. Sunny, self contained quirky garden that you can enjoy come rain or shine and loads to do from your doorstep! We enjoyed runs and walks along the coastal path, evening strolls down to the harbour and chewing the cud with the ever friendly locals over a pint or two. Great communication from the owner 'Q' with relevant and precise details pertaining to the accommodation, local attractions and things to do. Can't recommend highly enough!

We were amazed Hamilton Lodge is a hostel as it was so comfortable and homely. The free breakfast (help yourself to bread, cereals and coffee) was a real bonus and so was all the tourist information, DVD's for a cosy night in, and it's the location to some lovely local pubs.

The private room with bathroom was great. Large window with pleasant garden view. Great well equipped kitchen including fresh bread and milk, also cereal. It's a small cosy hostel, never crowded. Good location very close to shops. The host was extremely helpful with info and a very friendly guy.
