Very quiet location. Helpful hosts. Very good hot tub

Electric went off for a whole day The place smelt of cats Needs a stove in winter

We had a lovely stay at the lodge – everything was so peaceful and relaxing. The location is ideal, the surroundings were beautiful, and the lodge itself was cozy.

Lodge was specious, private and clean, hot tub was a nice extra

There were builders close to the property throughout the day being very noisy which defeated the point of being so secluded. There were some very friendly cats that came to greet us at the door which was nice at first tho they would beg at the door to be let in for hours (instructions in the lodge to not let them in at any time). Also not sure if they were from the farm or from one of the other lodges close by but we did have young children running past our bedroom window from time to time which was off putting.

Nice set up and clean

Fire alarm batteries were low and alarm was making high pitched noise, contacted the direct number for the owner but had no reply Left early
