Eden Roc Hotel & Spa by Brava Hoteles

The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and we found most of the staff to be very helpful. The reception staff were very helpful on the day we were leaving because there was an extreme weather warning and many people were trying to work out what to do. They all seem to remain calm and particularly Veronica was very helpful. I enjoyed swimming in the spa and using the sauna Again, all immaculately clean with helpful staff Towels were available for use at the pool as well And separate towels available for the spa We had breakfast each day and there was a good choice There was free parking outside the hotel which was great and it was about a 15 minute stroll down into the town

There was bad weather on the day that we were leaving and so once we checked out of our room, we had to wait in the bar for clearance to leave because of flooding in the town. The reception Staff were very helpful, but the Bar staff for some reason decided we could only opt to have a lunch in the restaurant. We double checked and my husband witnessed the Bar staff insisting to the reception staff they were not going to do Bar food for the number of people waiting. I don’t know if this decision from came from higher up in the hotel, but it was extremely disappointing for a four-star Hotel to leave us unable to have a snack on a day when we were stranded in the hotel.

The room and surroundings were lovely!

Because we booked through booking.com we had NO access to the spa!!! The spa was the reason we booked the place!!! The staff treated us like 2nd class guests as we had not booked through the hotel itself. No free spa access, no water or coffee in the room. Dinner and breakfast only from the buffet. And the reception staff was super unfriendly about it. It made me very sad to be treated like this.
