Fantastic quiet location but right on mosel river.

Pre paid for food,but had no choice.Luckly was a very nice soup and schnitzel which was fantastic.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Not far from the city of Cochem. The room had a clean and nice shower.

The room was on top floor. The stairs are not comfortable to walk on. The room was dirty. A lot, really a lot of dust under the beds, spiderwebs in the corners and the bedsheets were not clean. Electricity was poor. One socket was no longer inside the wall and you could touch the wiring... The room was to small for 3 adults. Kitchen was only open till 8pm and the menu is not great... almost only schnitzel. After 8pm there was no longer coffee available. You can not pay with cards or payconic. They only accept cash.

the room under the roof was sooooo hot, they had to leave at midnight with a one-year old baby. They had asked for another room, but were told that there were none. We saw that vacant rooms were offered!! The owner made no effort to have any other kind of communication but in German. It was verrry dirty!!

The size of the room was great. We were able to accommodate another kid without a problem. There was lots of storage areas. A safe was available. Hair dryers are available upon request.

Unfortunately there was no trash bin in the upper level. The bath tub was raised up and difficult to get in and out. The shower head was mounted too low and the taller travels weren’t able to use the rain shower. No soap is available in the room. There was no fridge in the room. The breakfast was very basic. Nothing home made. But the drip coffee.

Bed was quite comfortable :)

Breakfast was extremely basic. No toaster, no scrambled eggs.

Location and the deck was very nice.

The room was dirty, you could tell that they did not thoroughly clean. We let the front desk know we had a dog and rented bikes for the day. Here is where service went down. We did leave the dog for 10 hrs (typical day of work for us) and he is not kenneled so he just sleeps on his pillow. The bike rental was given to us with no questions asked. We got back at 11pm that night and he went nuts and was drunk. He said he was going to call the cops and that the bikes needed returned by 7pm. He was unprofessional and actually put his hand on me and got in my face. Luckily the daughter spoke better english and apologized for his behavior. I will never go back. This is my first booking.com review but this behavior should not go un-noticed.
