In den 1930er Jahren befand sich diese kleine Hütte an einem Privatstrand am Rande der Cobscook Bay. Schließlich wurde es aufgewertet und ein zweiter Stock und ein komplettes Badezimmer wurden hinzugefügt. Die Küche wurde im Jahr 2016 renoviert und verfügt über eine Waschmaschine / Trockner. Heute können Sie entweder auf dem Ober- oder Unterdeck sitzen und diese ruhige und private Lage mit Blick auf Cobscook & Passamaquoddy Bays genießen.
Ihr Super-Gastgeber, Ross Furman, lebte als Kind in Eastport und wollte immer wieder ein Stück auf Moose Island besitzen. 1987 kaufte er das heruntergekommene / leer stehende Bauernhaus von Captain Jacob Lincoln (1790) in Cobscook Bay und begann sein Abenteuer in dem magischen Ort, der jetzt Rossport heißt. Seine Leidenschaft und Begeisterung für die Schönheit, den Charakter und die Kultur der Region sind ansteckend.
Ein kleines Stück Himmel auf Erden. Erkunden Sie die über 80 Hektar großen Felder und Pfade, den ersten Sonnenaufgang in den USA. Rossport liegt zwischen den Buchten Cobscook & Passamaquoddy und hat eineinhalb Meilen Küstenlinie. Can only say it was a great week...house was clean and supplied with all the kitchen items we needed. Full refrig was great as we bought most of our food for the week. Furniture and Bed was very comfortable. Decks were the best!! No internet but our cell phone did work to our surprise.
Low Tide we could walk the beach for quite a ways-found lots of sea glass...kayaked...walked in the water by the shore. Only bummer we didn't build a fire on the beach but kindling etc was provided! Amazing to have them provide that!!
Great week and hope to return someday!

What a beautiful, peaceful place to rest, relax, read, bird watch, walk the water’s edge and calm the soul. The location was close to everything. We really enjoyed the beautiful hiking trails at Quoddy Lighthouse.

This house is a naturalist's dream: wildlife, birds of all kinds, seals. The house is alone on the water's edge and is only feet from the water at high tide. It would be hard to find anything more private and special. We loved it!
Small comments about the house itself: the kitchen is stocked pretty well, but needs a few baking pans. It definitely needs a dish draining rack and an appropriate-sized trash basket under the sink if four people were there. There were only two of us and it was tiny and quickly filled! Appliances were great. Living room could use another reading lamp. The spiral staircase was a surprise and surely not for everyone as it is steep. Oddly, at the top of the stairs there is a wide-open space to the side of the staircase where a child or sleepy adult wandering to the bathroom at night could fall straight down the side of the staircase.
We appreciated the quick attention of the owner when we had a minor problem, and his respect for our privacy was noticed and appreciated. Overall, high marks. And thank you, Ross.

Ross is indeed a "super-host", making sure that we had everything we might need or want. We thoroughly enjoyed the "gator tour" - a complete tour of the property and surrounding area, including introductions to some of the local folks. We had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze, a cozy, clean and comfortable cottage right on the bay. We were looking for peace and quiet and we found it here. Ross is indeed a "super-host", making sure that we had everything we might need or want. Beautiful home and location. However, had to leave without staying even one night due to very musty/moldy smell. If you have allergies or any breathing issues, I would not recommend you stay here.

No TV or wifi provides a digital detox in this lovely little house on the shore. Low tides filled with quiet and bird life. High tides for wading and sunning. A retreat from our busy lives.

having the ocean right out the door and such a nice private beach is awesome.
We loved everything about the house and the fact that there was no TVs was one of my favorite parts. My wife said it's the most adorable little house she has ever seen, my daughter loveed coming the beach finding shells and sea glass. My son love the fact that there were deer right outside the window when we woke up the first morning.
getting into the house was extremely easy when we showed up booking the house was extremely easy and the Pirate festival downtown was a ton of fun.

Amazing experience!
Quiet, picturesque, and peaceful! We had an amazing time. The view was gorgeous, and the cottage was adorable! The hosts were kind and informative. Bruce, one of the hosts, even took us on a private tour of the property. My 4 yr old loved him!
