Hotel Ca' Zusto Venezia

From the outside the Hotel is very deceptive relative to the extremly high quality of materials and finishes inside. I would say that would be typical of Venice where they maintain the traditional facades. It is not a large hotel in terms of open space, it is very compact, like a boutique style hotel. The location is also great as it is only a short walk from the train station, which also means it is a short walk back when leaving (Big Bonus). The location is quiet, but within 5 minutes walking you are in the bustle of Venices (Close to water buses etc). To be honest just walking aimlessly in Venice is an amazing experience in of itself. The staff were very freindly. While the hotel is very compact, the level of materials and finishes throughout the hotel reflected a very high standard of Italian workmanship and eye for detail.

The staff was very helpful

The staff were friendly, the hotel was closer to the entrance of Venice so was better to arrive there. Also the size of the room was pretty great.

Breakfast options were limited. The room was not full of facilities which you would expect of a 4* hotel and needed new flooring, the shower area was poor, and not much space, was getting water everywhere in the bathroom due to the shower partition being a flimsy curtain that did not reach the floor.
