Eurobar & Hotel

Affordable city centre stay

Currently being renovated

Good central location near to the train station. Receptionist friendly and helped us with heavy suitcases.

There are notices that state that the place is due to be renovated and it's clear that the place needs it, overall the communal areas are scruffy. WiFi didn't work but at least the receptionist made us aware.

The room and the location was great. Clean and comfortable.

First impressions were scruffy but when the halls are decorated and finished it will be a gem.

Location was excellent for my requirements. Room was clean (but tatty) Bed was hard but comfortable. TV worked Tea making facilities were there and worked.

Steps from street were steep. There was a sign saying rooms needed refurbishment and they meant it! Room was tatty. Carpet was 10 years past it's best. No hot water in wash basin. Shower worked but the holder was broken so it needed to be hand held. All furnishings were old and tatty. Lights over bed were missing one of them. Holes in wall where it used to be. Lock on door didn't automatically lock when closed so door was unlocked all night and had to be manually locked on leaving! (Found out myself by trying!)
