The Rathbone Hotel, Fitzrovia

Das Zimmer war gross, das Fenster lässt sich öffnen, die Teppiche in GB muss man akzeptieren, im Bad hab es eine Mischbatterie (!), die Betten sind sehr bequem, es wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht.

Der Lift ist sehr klein

Fantastic location in Fitzrovia with the rest of London close by. Modern clean hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Nice toiletries provided in the bathroom and great air conditioning that worked well.

Shower over the bath was difficult to get in and out, as bath deep so big step in and out easy to slip even though slip mat is provided. Wouldn’t put me off staying again but would request room with shower cubicle.

The rooms were clean, and the location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were also very helpful. We experienced a few minor issues during our stay, but they made every effort to resolve them and did their best to assist us. We would especially like to thank the hotel manager, Lucia, for her support and assistance throughout our stay.

- It's in a great location. It's very central, but also in a small alley, so there's not much street noise. - The staff at the bar/cafeteria is good. - The Spanish man at the front desk was nice. - Beds are comfortable. - Complimentary water, coffee, and tea in the room. Kettle available. - Free luggage storage for the day. - 24/7 front desk.

- The hotel is under renovation, resulting in noise throughout the day. There was no prior warning about this. - The noise insulation is poor, especially considering it is an old hotel. We were woken up by children screaming in the hallways in the morning. - The Wi-Fi doesn't work well. It is not recommended for people who need WiFi during their trip. The staff provided us with a Wi-Fi repeater, but it didn't work properly either. - There is only one elevator, and it is extremely slow and old. - The toilet doesn't flush properly, and the shower pressure is very poor. - Breakfast consists of two types of pastries, bread, jam, butter, yogurt, coffee or tea, and juice. There are no vegan or lactose-free options. - Requests to the front desk may be slow sometimes. - I recommend sending messages and emails to confirm that your requests are received to avoid any delays upon arrival. - It's extremely expensive for what it is.
