Charming historic property in the heart of lovely undiscovered Benevento. Large comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, very friendly and efficient staff. Amazing value for money also, true 4 star hotel very much well deserved.
everything was great

Close to town. Clean and welcoming.
Not able to park at the hotel

Good location, big, clean rooms, nice firm bed.
Staff fairly ambivalent to our needs. Poor direction to car park, which was full. When I went to reception to tell them, they said no drama, we will move cars to fit yours in. But they had video surveillance of the carpark and could have saved us stress by explaining all this when we checked in. Also, the hotel was hosting a big event and should have given us prior warning that there would be no meals or bar service offered. We would have looked elsewhere if we had known.

The hotel has a great potential in terms of infrastructure and location. Staff friendly and accommodating. Clean and well equipped rooms.
Needs refreshing: Bathroom faucets are rusted; water in the shower took 4 minutes to start to get warm; Fridge in the room noisy; cover plate missing on electrical socket; insonorisation awful; garage convenient but very small and hard to manoeuvre within.
Breakfast: minimal standard. On 25/04 (national holiday), ricotta had gone bad, bread had also gone bad; cakes were likely a couple of days old; jam distributors were left covered with plastic film; no fresh juice.
