Hotel Select

Hotel Select was a lovely place to stay overnight upon our arrival at Nice airport. It was easy to arrive in Beaulieu sur Mer by train and the hotel is so close to the station. They kindly stored our luggage and, when we checked in, were very welcoming and pleasant. She gave us lots of restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and everything worked well. It was nice to watch the market in the square while we ate a very good breakfast. All in all a very good stay.

It was located in the centre of such a beautiful location within easy walking distance of beach, train, supermarket and eateries.

The hotel provides excellent value for the price. The front desk staff were very helpful to us in figuring out how to get to the Rothschild Villa by bus. Beds were comfy, rooms very clean, breakfast was nicely stocked by a lovely employee, AC worked great, and location was walking distance to shops, restaurants, a marina, and a beach club. Across the street is a town square where families with children congregate in the early evening. Excellent value for a two-star hotel.

I was slightly worried that luggage (ours and others’) stored at the hotel prior to check in, although clearly labeled by the hotel and kept within the eyesight of the front desk attendant, was left in a public area rather than in a locked room. All was fine, however, so I guess I needn’t have worried.

The location was very good.

Breakfast only started at 7:00. WE DID NOT HAVE BREAKFAST AS WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY FOR OUR RETURN HOME. BREAKFAST SHOULD START EARLIER THAN 7:00 AM. ALSO THE ROOM SIZE WAS EXTREMELY SMALL. 2 PEOPLE TRAVELLING NORMALLY HAVE 2 SUITCASES. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SPACE IN THE ROOM FOR OPENING 2 SUITCASES.
