Great view from cottage

Heating stat reads higher than it should due to it being above heat of refrigerator that is heating the worktop below it. Not really a problem until it gets colder

EVERYTHING. WE CAME LAST YEAR AND THI TIME WITH THE GRANDSONS AND DOG. WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME LAST YEAR AND BOOKED FOR A DIFFERENT WEEK THIS YEAR, BUT DUE TO MY WIFES WORK SHE XOULD NOT COME FOR THE NEW DATE. WE HAD THE GRANDSONS THE WEEK I CAME AND MY WIFE WAS AT HOME OVERSEEING HOME RENOVATIONS BUT WE HOPE TO BE BACK SOON

THE REST OF THE FAMILY NOT WITH US TO SEE THE BEAUTY OF THIS PLACE

The best view of any of our other stays. Gentle and green in one direction, massive and rugged in the other. Fresh air and lots of winding roads to explore. A visit to Lllangollen for lunch. Plenty of parking.

It would be good to have a grab rail in the bath.

Location was wonderful. A short drive from Llangollen and in the middle of beautiful countryside. Plenty of parking and privacy. WiFi worked.

I did not realize how small the camping pod would be. That might be completely my fault for not paying attention to that. The biggest difficulty was the two single beds - it wasn’t a trundle, which is where the second bed slides out from under the first on wheels. It took a lot of effort so when you weren’t sleeping it was way too much of a pain to put the beds back giving you zero space in the pod. There were also loads of big decorative pillows/cushions that had to be stacked on the floor which took up space. The weather was warm which was a challenge. The only light and ventilation comes from the door. I was way too hot and stuffy with the door closed but as soon as we opened it bugs came in. It really needs a screen door for summer. It wasn’t as clean as it could have been. We had to rewash any cutlery that we used and the edges of the floor weren’t clean. Finally, this was the only property that had no welcome pack. We stayed in many different places and all the others had at least coffee/tea and milk. Others included cookies/fresh bread/hot chocolate etc. It’s not a dealbreaker but when you arrive after traveling it’s so much easier to make a drink when stuff is provided rather than having to unpack first etc. Especially with this property because it was so small.
