The hotel totally exceeded our expectations. It had a very relaxing feel to it, being genuine and comfortable with no pretences of being swish and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing information of suitable walks and details of the EV charging attached to the building. The restaurant, although not flash, met all our needs. Good quality and good value. Very good beer!

Nestled in a breath-taking location, the lodge was perfect for spending the day outdoors, warming up in the sauna, and heading to dinner for an excellent meal, complete with local products, including digestifs. Save room for desserts! The buffet breakfast was self-service and included everything you might need. The staff were wonderfully friendly, multi-lingual, and knowledgeable about the local surroundings when asked. Big rooms, excellent views, even from the hot tub. Direct access to trails (in summer), the Botanical Garden, the main road, and the regional bus stop. Covid measures were followed at all times. I saw ski descents for winter, too.

Some amenities were cancelled in order to follow Covid measures, but the staff explained the reasons behind the changes and communicated them as soon as I reserved the room, with plenty of time to cancel my booking. The room got a bit warm at night, but I could open the windows for a cool breeze. No grocery store in immediate vicinity, but area has a cafe, restaurant, some souvenir shops, a botanical garden, and a honey shop.

Great room. Super friendly hosts. Breathtaking location, central to many locations in the Alps.
