Consolación

A wonderful and quiet place surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views over the beautiful landscape. The location is peaceful, private, and truly relaxing. I especially loved the simple, tasteful design — both the interior and exterior are beautifully understated, without being overdone. Everything feels thoughtfully designed to blend naturally with the surroundings. A perfect place to slow down, enjoy the views, and reconnect with nature. The breakfast was amazing, unfortunately we did not have dinner.

Just few little things or suggestions: at the reception could talk in english, in the house could be opener and glasses for wine.

LAS VISTAS DESDE LA HABITACIÓN, LA UBICACIÓN DEL CUBO HACIA LA MONTAÑA, EL ENTORNO RODEADO DE MONTE Y LAS INSTALACIONES EN GENERAL

EN EL CUBO, AL TENER EL SUELO DE TERRAZA NEGRA, TODAS LAS ZONAS POR LAS QUE PASA AGUA (BAÑERA Y DUCHA) ESTABAN BLANQUECINAS (SUPONGO QUE POR LA CAL DEL AGUA) Y TRANSMITÍAN SENSACIÓN DE SUCIEDAD, AUNQUE APARENTEMENTE NO LO ESTABAN. ESTUVIMOS EN EL CUBO 6 Y TIENE EL INCONVENIENTE QUE DESDE AFUERA LA GENTE TE VEÍA AL PASAR A LOS CUBOS 7 Y SIGUIENTES, POR LO QUE LA PRIVACIDAD QUE DEBÍA TENER ESTE TIPO DE ALOJAMIENTO SE PERDÍA.

The day bed, the views and the beautiful chapel named in honor of Our Lady of Consolation. Our room however left a lot to be desired.

Poor lighting in the room, especially the “bathroom” lights which were yellow fluorescent tubes, a tiny mirror in the “bathroom” made it impossible to apply makeup, no proper door on the small toilet and shower cubicle (a loose barn door arrangement), nowhere to hang anything in said cubicle, being able to hear noise and conversations from the kitchen, hallway and reception area. My husband and I thought well if we can hear them talking then they can hear us too? We felt our privacy was compromised making us feel uncomfortable. If an establishment charges high prices then guest expectations are also high. These for us were not met.
