Hotel Cavalluccio Marino

Hotel room was fantastic. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Friends joined us to watched the sunset. Room 601 is the best room with the most amazing view.

Pillows were not great. Thats the only negative.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Tolle Lage, direkt am Strand. Alles sehr sauber. Super Frühstück mit grosser reichhaltiger Auswahl. Eigene Parkplätze.

Breakfast was wonderful. Loved looking at the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved it all.

WIsh the bar across the street had a little more food to offer at 3 in the afternoon. We had not eaten all day because of travel and delayed trains.

Location was nice on the waterfront. Food was average.

We asked hotel to arrange for taxis from airport to hotel and hotel to port Civitavecchia. The taxi that took us from airport to hotel was dirty and ramshackle, no value for money. The taxi that took us from hotel to port next day was supposed to pick us up by 12.00 and cost € 60. Hotel asked if we would mind leaving earlier and sharing the car with other couple. It would save the driver a lot of time. We agreed and left at 10.30. At the port the taxi driver insisted on receiving € 120 and became very aggressive. The driver was a regular contact of the hotel. The trip the day before was subcontracted by him to a friend. We blame the hotel for misleading us as regards the fare and for doing business with a mafioso like that.
