Cosmos Hotel Taipei

The location is great. Just beside the M3 train exit and the hop-on hop off bus was just on the next street. Heated water was great and continuous. Welcome drinks were highly appreciated!

It was a bit on the older side of things. The room size is just decent. The air conditioning was erratic at night.

Proximity and convenience.

No pool

Proximity was key...great to get around the city by metro. Light refreshments n snacks offered complementary late afternoon. We stored our bags post checkout n were able to have a shower after our day tour in the gym before headed back to the hotel. 7x11 n family mart just outside.

The lobby is dated and doesn't have a pool that is expected for a 5 star. Also the Airport metro is quite a long walk n navigating to n fro the hotel exit from it is tricky especially lugging big suitcases.

Location and the overall layout of the room. Breakfast was fine, and the staff members were friendly. Afternoon tea was offered to me when I checked in.

There was no curtain installed at the bathtub, so water was spilt outside the tub near the bathroom door. I didn't notice that the floor was wet, and I almost fell when I stepped out of the bathroom after showering. I suggest replacing the "half glass curtains" with canvas curtains in the rooms to prevent water from spilling and to ensure safety. Also, there was a moldy smell whenever I switched on the A/C, which triggered my nasal allergies. The hotel may need to clean its A/C systems.
