Location was great, but there are much more better alternatives in park

Everywhere was slippery and icy, altough I warned them several times, they didnt take action and at las I fall and twist my ankle

There are so many things to like about the place. It's the most happening and yet secluded place out there. The amazing and really really cozy reception area of the hotel, the restaurant, the cafe, the bistro, the common area. of the hostel building, the sauna were all amazing. There is a lot of help available around there.

The cost. >780 per night for a 6-bed dorm and 150 additional bucks for linen is a little too much. But given the secluded location and all the facilities, it might be okay .

Love it! You can see the aurora just outside the hostel. Kitchen and toilet is great. And just few minutes to the lake and national park.

We loved the location, the nature around is mesmerizing. Very calm, a unique experience.

Don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag, there is an extra charge for the linen. Nothing to dry your hand in the toilet, the toilet paper is of very poor quality… You need to do your own cleaning upon departure. Checkout at 10:00 am & checkin at 03:00pm. A bit weird for the price we are paying. The activities are all very expensive. If you are on a budget, don’t fall in the tourist trap. You can walk around and see the northern lights without paying :) The staff is very nice but unfortunately not very helpful… we had questions regarding the walks we could do around and the bus schedule to Narvik and they did not have any information. A bit more help would have been nice.

הצוות היה מאוד חייכן אבל גם אני הייתי מחייכת אם היו משלמים לי כלכך טוב עבור כלכך מעט עבודה :) הרכבת לאביסקו לא פעילה בחודשים האלו ואין איך להגיע להוסטל אלא על ידי הסעה פרטית יקרה אבל זה לא כתוב בשום מקום בולט כדי שנדע לשקול את ההגעה. גם את ההסעה צריך להזמין מראש כי אין מספיק מקום... גילית ברגע האחרון שאין לי איך להגיע אך הם לא הסכימו לבטל את ההזמנה שלי בלי תשלום. לבסוף הסכימו לפחות להעביר לתאריך אחר בו כן אוכל להגיע.

התמורה הגרועה ביותר שקיבלתי למחיר אי פעם. כאילו המחיר לא גבוה מספיק למיטה בדורמס, התברר שאני חייבת לשלם עוד 185 sek כדי *להשכיר* מצעים ולשים בעצמי על המיטה: מחיר שמספיק כדי לקנות את המצעים, ושהוא בדכ הסטנדרט למחיר ללינה כולה בדורמס הכולל מצעים. התברר שצוות ההוסטל מצפה ממני לנקות את החדר, יש תמונה שמסבירה איזה פינות חשוב לנקות ולא לשכוח, שקיבלה את פני בהגעה לחדר. הצ'ק אאוט הוא בשעה 10 בבוקר והצ'ק אין בשעה 3 בצהריים, פער של 5 שעות - בשביל מה בדיוק אם החלפת המצעים והניקיון מתבצעים על ידי האורח? בקיצור מסתבר ששילמתי 890 sek על הלינה ועוד 185 על המצעים עבור הזכות הנפלאה לקום מוקדם ולעבוד בתור חדרנית בהוסטל... במקביל לחזירות במחיר ולעצלנות בתמורה, חוסר חשיבה על האורח ניכר בכל דבר בהוסטל; היו רק חדרי דורמס מעורבים אבל אין וילונות לפרטיות, היו מדפים לחפצים אבל לא הייתה אפשרות לנעול אותם בלוקר כמו ברוב ההוסטלים בעולם, ואפילו שיבצו אותי במיטה עליונה על אף שהיו בחדר 2 מיטות תחתונות פנויות. הקבלה וההוסטל נמצאים ב2 בניינים שונים וביניהם מספר דקות הליכה בגשם וברוחות כשהרצפה מחליקה משלג שנמס לקרח.. הייתי צריכה לחצות את כל זה כדי לשאול אם המיטות התחתונות אכן פנויות, כי לא ענו לי להודעה שבה ניסיתי לשאול. בעת הצ'ק אין שכחו לחייב אותי בתשלום על החדר וביקשו ממני לחזור באותן הודעות ממש, אז דווקא ידעו להיות זמינים בהודעות...

Tout était bien,les chambres pratiques,cuisine spacieuses suffisamment équipés, un séjour pas trop de monde ,donc cuisine accessible,sauna et WiFi gratuit, propre..le personnel jeunes dynamiques et souriant s

,le restaurant reste cher,mais bon nous sommes à l'hostel, un peu cher ,mais c'est dans le parc,.le personnel, le personnel les plus âgées sont fatigués

Quite cold in the restaurant and common areas, but it was an exceptionally cold week

We stayed two nights in the room with a private bathroom. It was simple, but had everything basic - towels, kettle, toiletry. Cozy lobby, when you can spend time while waiting for checkins or after checkout, decent food, location is perfect for hiking.

It was a bit chilly in the room.

Fantastic location (next to the National Park). Multiple shared rooms for reading, relaxing, eating, cooking. Amazing view from everywhere. Hostel was very well organized with eye for detail and everything you need for active stay.

All great. Staying in a hostel is obviously different from staying in a hotel (bunk bed, shared bath room) but the shared facilities were well equipped and clean.

Te avisan de que es necesario alquilar sabana y toallas para la zona de hostel, pero no del precio de este servicio: lo normal en cualquier hostal son 3 euros pero aquí, al cambio, nos cobraron 22 euros por persona por usar esa ropa de cama una mísera noche: un atraco a mano armada en toda regla, ya que por ese precio compras un juego de cama nuevo cada noche. Por otro lado, el precio de la habitación compartida con baño fuera ya de por por si es abusivo, pagando precio de hotel de 5 estrellas.

Loved the location. The hotel was very sociable and breakfast was very nice.

Fairly high price for the accomodation.

The cabin is at the famous hiking route start, relatively new and good facilities. The restaurant nearby is also quite good. Cabin can sleep 6+ person and located in a quiet surrounding

There is no kitchen paper, and there is no TV! This is a bit inconvenient for me to work with laptop, looking for maps, process photos etc...

Fantastic location, good facilities including a small shop, library and advice on where to hike in the mountains, and nature centre with exhibitions next door. Excellent dinner specialising in local foods.

Obviously there were problems with the toilets atm. But I can’t fathom that there are open drop toilets that filter into the rivers, instead of environmentally safe toilets on the Kungsleden trail now that so many people are hiking

A great place to stay for exploring the arctic circle! Midnight sun hike was also really epic.

Great location as a start to most trails in area. The cabins are well equipped and clean and comfortable for a family of 5/6

The exterior of cabins very jaded and could do with an uplift. Whilst I was aware that we had to pay for linen and towels, these could be included in the price I felt
