Opera Hotel Bosphorus - Preferred Hotels and Resorts

The view is wonderful as in the description, comfy bed, large room, nice staff. The bed sheets were clean.

Attention to detail missing for the money paid, for example I remained with the door handle in my hands for the bathroom and I fixed it myself. There were hair clippers in the corner of the room so that we understood that the cleaning was superficially done. The water from the shower was pouring in the bathroom which will eventually infiltrate in the door, I think the syphon was clogged or something.

We chose this hotel because of its location, price, that it had a pool and the great view from the balcony. It more than lived up to what we were expecting. As a bonus, we found the staff to be super friendly, even offering us an umbrella when we stepped out in a rain shower.

The restaurant (the one where breakfast is served, not the one on the roof) was a mixed bag. We had one meal there which was just OK and ordered a cheese plate and a fruit plate on room service that were excellent.

The location is just 5 minutes away from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. If you walk downhill, you can reach the tram and boat station at Kabataş, from where you can easily travel to different parts of the city. The room was amazing—very clean, a great view of the Bosphorus, and a very decent size. The staff were also amazing and extremely helpful. We were traveling with our child, so they provided an additional bed and changed the baby crib for us in no time. I absolutely loved the room, the peaceful balcony with its beautiful view, and the location. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

Bathroom door does not have lock and it's glass door not visible from inside or outside but still should be wooden door and must have lock. also the shower room is little small and outside bathroom area way towards the bathroom so it feels like it middle of the room. That two things I didn't like for my room apart from this I love the room.
