Logis Hotel Ur-Hegian

We stayed two nights at the Logis Ur-Hegian but can only comment on the hotel as a B&B, not the dining facilities as were engaging with family at another hotel. As a B&B Logis Ur-Hegian is great. Ample parking, easy access, friendly and helpful welcome, a lift (important when you're 80!), a clean, comfortable room off a lovely terrace with a good view and to round it off, discrete but very effective air-con (essential in the summer of '26!). We did take breakfast here, and can report it excellent. They serve the modern 'Continental' which is leaning towards a fuller, German style, with eggs and bacon etc. All in all, a lovely place to stay. Just a short walk away is the Spanish - French border with the majority of the shops, supermarket, petrol station in Spain. And to provide a bit of amusement the Gendamerie and Duaniers use it as a training area for the stop and search of Spanish white vans.

There were fruit flies everywhere. The heating wouldn't go higher than 22 and it was very cold.
