Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa

Bluebay was a real home away from home. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely made the stay special. The food was excellent, the beach setting was beautiful, and everything felt relaxed, clean and well looked after. I had a fantastic stay.

There were a few occasional power interruptions, but they did not take away from an otherwise wonderful experience.

Pleasant environment. Nice view of sea. Nice decor. Very clean. Lovely pools. Excellent showers. Great entertainment with singers, Masai dance one night and then acrobatics the following night. Friendly staff. Our flights were changed at the last minute which was stressful. Front desk staff were great at giving us longer in room and rearranging our transfers to airport

We asked for a twin and were given a room with sofa bed. The mattress on the sofa bed was as hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable. Put off going onto beach by presence of local lads. Information mentioned beach boys but there were also lads dressed as Masai so we didn’t know if they were staff. The was a security guard but still unpleasant to be harassed all the time when trying to swim. Restaurant situation is bizarre. Told 3 al la Carte restaurants that had to be booked at least by 12 the day before. We chose the Italian and whenever we asked staff where it was they were very vague about the location. Got taken by golf buggy to property next door and it was 2 of the 3 ‘restaurants’ in one space. We were the only people. No view. Felt like we were dining behind the shed. Staff uninterested / talking loudly behind the bar. We left. Hotel needs to review how they market and sell these extra dining offerings

Jede Nacht wurde Abfall verbrannt in der Gegend und der Geruch und die Gase in der Luft waren sehr unangenehm.
