The apartment is in a great location - very close to the beach and round the corner from the sunset which i enjoyed every night. There is also a cluster of restaurant close by that were very good so no need to go to Funchal.
The apartment is very noisy - the people in the apartment above were yelling and making noise at night frequently. I complained about this but it didnt really stop. Also the apartment could have done with a deeper clean - bits of dust etc. Finally they sent me an email asking if I had any questions and when I sent them they did not reply. If you dont want to help then maybe dont send emails saying you will.
