The apartment was right next to a supermarket and had a washing machine which was perfect for us as had been on the road for a long time.
It was a grab away from the old town and not much within walking distance. We were met by a girl who asked us to ‘wait in the lobby’. She gave us a note to give to security to get us in each day as we didn’t have the photo identification required. She said to call her if we had any issues. Not ideal but I’m guessing this happens a lot in Vietnam. Would be good to know though.

Spacious and clean
No tea towels, hand wash and only two mugs
