Food was nice
There was mould on the tiles in the shower and it was extremely expensive for what it was, you also had to plug the jug in to a power point on the floor

Pre-dinner drinks, the dinner meal and post dinner pool and drinks.
Waiting an hour for the breakfast room to open, although we (5 couples) sympathised with the Manager's unintentional sleep-in.

Building and room was well maintained while keeping the historic vibe. Staff were friendly and professional. Also the inclusion of continental breakfast with the room was a nice surprise and made our stay very convenient.

Obviously being a pub downstairs noise until close around 11pm, so if you want an early night just something to think about.

Had to use PowerPoint in bathroom to charge phones, etc. Also, very noisy.

Being a regular oversea tourist who loves to stay in colonial hotels this hotel has that WOW factor.Really brings me back in times.The staff are also very helpful and friendly.Thank You Very Much Yarra Valley Grand Hotel!!!

Dinner though slow in arriving was exceptional and tasty. Staff throughout our stay were fabulous.
A trash can in the main bed room is a suggestion.

We did not have breakfast. Location excellent.
Mix up with our rooms… my husband & I paid more for the Melba suite & were put in the premium room & our friends the other … but all good.

We stayed in the Manager's House attached to the hotel. Fantastic 60's style house with 4 bedrooms, cooking facilities, lounge, pool etc. We ordered food from hotel which they delivered. Great staff.
The house really needs updating. Vines over the skylights, cracked tiles in bathrooms. Video broken. Unfortunately it is run down but could be bought back. Good space for 3 or 4 couples.

The heater is old and rattled for half the night. We had some trouble getting the heating to work - no instructions available.

The food was amazing, as were the friendly and helpful staff with great knowledge of the area. We could hear the downstairs music from our room but it finished earlier than we were expecting which was great.
There was nothing that we didn’t like about this accommodation.
