Superb old boat shop in Saone 10 minutes from Vieux Lyon
Willkommen in diesem Haus, das im 17. Jahrhundert von Kaufleuten und Schifffahrern in der letzten Kurve der Saône vor dem Zusammenfluss erbaut wurde.
Das Haus befindet sich direkt am Nordeingang des von der UNESCO in Lyon klassifizierten Umkreises
Die Wohnung, die Ihnen für eine Weile gehören wird, besteht aus:
- aus dem alten Lagerhaus jetzt die Wohnküche,
- aus dem alten Keller nun ein Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer,
- eine alte Werkstatt jetzt ein zweites Schlafzimmer,
- sowie den Innenhof mit seinem Brunnen, seiner Wasserpumpe und seiner Lounge zum Grillen mit der Familie oder mit Freunden.
Die Wohnung wurde 2019 komplett renoviert

The apartment was clean, private, mostly quiet in the courtyard (you can hear the restaurant next door when they’re operating) and beautifully equipped (two irons!). Walking distance from bus and river, easy access to sights and restaurants. Truly a unique place to stay, thank you!

Easy access to Vieux Lyon and Confluence using the convenient transportation system. The renovated apartment was just perfect and the owner was very hospitable! We did not want for anything. A VERY cozy place to live!

Host is very accommodating, secure and quite place, can walk around not too far but close enough to the touristy areas. It's right at the river side, so you can see the beautiful view when you go out from the apartment. Also, the outdoor area is much love to hang out in the morning for coffee and wine at night. Highly recommended.

Perhaps in France they have a different definition of the words ‘clean’ and ‘superb’. This property was neither. In many ways it’s lovely, but in reality it’s not as described in the listing. It’s in the old town, built into the rocks only a few meters from the river. But the area is quite scruffy and it’s certainly not in the heart of the old town. It’s also quite poorly thought through. For instance, the bathroom and toilet are at opposite ends of the apartment, when there’s space enough to have them together. Also, the fridge freezer is tall and stacked on top of a washing machine. So, unless you’re an NBA basketball player you’re not getting to the top half. There was no step ladder provided, so my wife had to stand on a kitchen chair to clean out the mold when we arrived. This brings me to the worst point: the property was dirty and damp. Not student house dirty, but not adequately clean and certainly nowhere near the standard of the other 9 properties we’ve rented on this trip. Everything was dusty, the kitchen and bathroom were not clean and there were no rubbish sacks in the bins. Worst of all, though, was the damp bedroom and water on the floor and inside the wardrobe. When I pointed this out to the host, they replied that the flat had been cleaned, that I could get some bin sacks from the shop, and that they were not aware of any damp issues. When I sent photos of the water, they stopped responding.
