Large 3 double bed with 2 en-suite

As you enter the property there is a strong musty smell of damp. The ground floor bedroom which is opposite the entrance door also smells of damp. the stairs in the the property, which lead upto the sitting/kitchen area are steep so should you, like ourselves, have someone with mobility issues they could struggle. The TV in the property didn’t work due an Ariel issue, we rang the booking company on the Friday to ask for a new Ariel but no one came to sort this, we rang the golf club directly on Saturday to ask the property manager again to try to resolve it but he wasn’t available, yet particulars state he’s contactable 24/7. There is free parking on site but as we found when we came back after a morning out as there was a golf tournament on, all the parking spaces had been taken, even the ones for the property. There is a Bistro and bar on site but as we discovered when a function is one they close to everyone else, so maybe check beforehand if you want to eat or have a drink onsite. The top floor bedroom, the mattress is very thin and you can feel the springs, and every time you moved the bed and flooring creaked terribly, which disturbed the bedroom below. We didn’t need one but the particulars mention a washing machine, there isn’t one.

Freezer could do with de- icing , dirty underwear in third drawer found top floor ( through them out) . Side bars in oven need little adjustment quite hard to get the grill pan in .

Good location for exploring, some issues and some were addressed. No hairdryer in the property, and when we asked about it, they went out and bought one, and we saw them supplying the other 2 properties with brand new ones too. Did get a call from housekeeping on the day, to say there was an issue re bedding for one bedroom, had to have 2 single duvets as the double duvet was not available, did not bother us, but thought it was nice to let us know, they also said we could check in early if we wanted to as the house was ready. Leak from one if the bedroom radiators handyman came and fixed it straight away.

The smell form the outside drain/septic tank, and the damp in the ground floor bedroom, which we spoke to them about, and we were told basically they knew about the problem and not alot they could to do. No toiletries, not even hand soap, did have hand sanitiser. Limited, and mixed utensils, crockery and glasses.

Clean and well equipped.

ground floor bedroom smelled musty, mould on the wall of the cupboard immediately inside the door. I understand there has been a damp problem in the past so this may be an historical problem but the walls in the cupboard need mould treatment and prevention, and maybe a de-humidifier left in the room for a few days.

Fantastic location in the grounds of Holyhead Golf Club with both sea and mountain views. A very clean and well appointed apartment that is dog friendly.

The only thing that let it down a little was the mattresses are on the basic side, maybe a topper or invest in quality.

Had a wonderful stay here! Apartment was so lovely and clean! Split on three levels with a bedroom/bathroom on each floor gives guests privacy. Lovely lounge/kitchen with great amenities. Would 100% recommend this and would definitely stay here again
