Liked location but there was scaffolding and a worker at window level so privacy was affected. It was difficult to find the parking and home at first due to scaffolding

Parking was impossible to access due to angle of location, and we had to park with a neighbour. Difficult stairs for my cousin and his mobility. Would have preferred a later checkout as time frame was too short.

Such a cosy, well designed, nicely decorated and superbly located property. Emily and Josephine communicated clearly and always timely - a pleasure to deal with.

Nothing was out of place.

Location. Funky interiors. Great colours. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy seating for 4. Bed linen and towels were excellent quality.

2nd bedroom was too much of a “poor relation” to the main bedroom for two couples. A change to two small bedside tables either side with a slight move of bed away from the wall would have made a massive difference.

The location is great. It’s beautifully decorated and spacious. Just as it appears in the listing apart from scaffolding on front windows.

The frontage was covered in dirty scaffolding so we were looking out onto builder’s rubbish. We had no hot water for the whole of our stay, a fact which was known prior to our arrival. We had just arrived when greeted by a plumber with a part he’d ordered on Wednesday, unfortunately he was unable to fix the boiler. This completely ruined our stay. Friday night was extremely stressful and was spent with the plumber, talking to the letting agent and with booking.com. We were offered and had to accept inadequate compensation. We were also offered a full refund if we cancelled our stay, which was an unacceptable offer as we were attending a wedding in Henley and there was no alternative accommodation in the area. Having to wash hair and shower in icy cold water is no fun and even more galling when you have paid a premium cost for accommodation. Budget hotels offer a full refund under the same circumstances. Check this issue has been fixed prior to booking.
