Absolutely nothing

Please understand that when you’re booking this non-refundable booking that the owner takes no consideration about the events that are occurring around them except that there is money in only their account. Booked this prior to covid and unfortunately due to the outbreak of the virus it fell into my stay. With international travel bans in both countries, I approached the owner to reconsider a refund. After being offered a credit which I was unable to accept as being front line health care worker during such an uncertain time my manager is not approving any annual leave in the next year. I explained this to the owner and offered to show a letter for my manager however the response was just astounding. The owner stated that since I have a paid job I’m more financially stable then what they were. The owner is happy to charge despite receiving absolutely no service which was not by either of our choices. To this day the owner showed no sympathy to the current situation. If you’re happy to book a room through the design district zen fireplace studio I hope you understand that your booking is 1000% secure, so please make sure that your house, family, dogs and cats are all safe cause I’m sure they will not bend their terms to help others out that need it! Safe to say I would not recommend to stay here based on the owners selfish attitude.
