Robin Hood Farm B&B

Lovely stone building in a quiet setting, very convenient for visiting Chatsworth House, Bakewell and Buxton. Very welcoming owners with generous hospitality including a selection of cakes and non-alcoholic drinks. We were in the Nelson room which was well proportioned on the first floor. It did not have an ensuite, but there was the exclusive use of a large bathroom a few steps down the corridor. The wifi was good and password protected. Breakfast took place around a refectory table giving the opportunity to chat with other guests. There was an extensive choice of food which we had to select the day before. The property is adjacent to a pub with a restaurant serving a good selection of food.

The car park was a little snug if there was full occupancy and it was a bit challenging to pull suitcases across the gravel to the side of the farmhouse. The flagstones around the front of the property were slightly uneven.

Fabulous location, friendly and helpful hosts, clean and tidy, good variety selection of hot and cold soft drinks, great breakfast.

Just on a personal note the bed was a little too soft for us.

Attractive attention to detail. Delicious breakfast.

A long walk out of Baslow along noisy fast main road with narrow pavement.
