The lady who ran the place was really generous and kind. My cat was allowed to stay with me. There was a nice common area and a really pretty view. There are affordable grocery stores within walking distance. There's a kitchen with a fridge and cooking tools you're allowed to use. The showers also had hot water.
Sometimes there was sound at night outside the hostel on Friday and Saturday. But that can't really be controlled, and is expected in the city.

One of the best hostals we stayed in on the camino. Very clean, great facilities and very spacious for city hostal - living room and kitchen/dining space, all with high ceilings. The manager was friendly and super helpful

It is in a good central location in Leon. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby and not too far (15 minute walk) from the main bus and train stations although other pubic transportation is a block away. All female or all male dorms available.
No issues. Can’t think of one.
