Slightly expensive but manageable

The location was great, with a major hospital and malls nearby, and it was in a prime location.

It’s a really well located small hotel, clean, the bed was White comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly!

I think overall I like it all

If I only talk about the rooms, it's a 7/10. But a few things stood out that had me rate it 9/10. We stayed for 2 nights. I was disappointed on the first day, but on the second day, it was an amazing experience. So, the bad things first: (Read next block) Now, the extraordinary things: - Check-in was at 2 PM (very late), but we arrived at 10 AM from Galle using the seaside train. We just wanted to drop our bags and come back later, but the receptionist said the room was ready so we could check in. It was such a relief, as we were already very tired. - On the last day of our journey, we ran short on LKR cash. As everyone expects cash for homestay/hotel payments, we were in trouble. Luckily, they accepted US dollars and gave me a really nice conversion rate. This was so helpful for me. - They have a rooftop kitchen that is well-equipped. You can literally stay here for a long time and cook anything there. We were not told about it in the beginning, but when we asked for a kettle, they told us about the kitchen. I think this is the best-equipped kitchen I've seen on my journey. Also, the rooftop sitting area was so nice. I'd request them to improve their room facilities. It's amazing otherwise.

Room facilities are below average. Wobbly bad, single towel for a couple, only a single socket that is in a very inconvenient place (not closer to bed or the table), even the bed side lamp was just sitting there without a power source. The washroom door lock did not work, noisy roads (but in return, you get a beautiful city view - it's a trade off). Overall, the room itself needs improvement. But that's not the whole story.
