Cosy cottage close to the beautiful locations on the Gower coast. Spotlessly clean.
The bedrooms needed some blackout blinds

Lovely cottage with beautiful views and very friendly and helpful owner
Just would have liked blackout blinds or at least thick curtains particularly above the bunk bed so the kids slept longer!

I loved the natural stone walls in the sitting- room appropriate for a 300year old cottage ; also the genuine feeling of warmth and coziness. The wood- burner also lent a historical atmosphere to the cottage. Well done Mary for creating such an iconic home/ cottage, affording a panoramic view over BurryPort towards an extensive shoreline : wonderful sunrise !
Just a minor drawback, which will not affect the majority of visitors : a car is more or less essential ; however, the high location gives one such a splendid view, that you “ can’t have your cake and eat it !! “ The local taxi gave very good service; also learning a little more of the historic past of the town. ie. a friendly chat with the driver, Debbie , an added bonus and only two minutes drive to various shops.

Very cosy with stone walls and log burner with amazing views of Loughor estuary and Gower. Owner incredibly helpful and friendly.
Skylight directly over bunk beds in one of the rooms. No dressing table and limited space in bedrooms in general.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful (nothing was too much trouble), the view from the cottage was stunning.
Accessibility to property/building work and tight turn at the bottom of the road.

The owners were nearby and so helpful and yet easy going.

It’s also well connected by rail from London.
Local taxis were hard to come by tho, our stay was end of season.

Perfect location, quiet, amazing views, easily accessible, perfect hosts, clean house, spacious, everything you need was perfect for family of 5 with 3 young children

Get location above the town of Burry Port. Gret view out of the front of the property. Hosts were great and very friendly. A brilliant little box with tea, coffee, milk, cake and eggs left in the kitchen for our arrival. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. I'm sure we will return sometime in the future.

This cottage is in a beautiful location high above Burry Port with super views out to sea. Lovely country walks all around.

Very comfortable, with its very own character. Fantastic little cottage in a perfect location for beech, the harbour. Mary was very welcoming on arrival. The children did not want to leave and even wanted to move there 😄 Fresh eggs from Mary’s chicken and also fresh honey from the bee hive. 100% will stay again 👌🏾
