Highlander Hotel

We were already in scarborough and decided to see if we could book somewhere for one night and this hotel came up,hotel in a good location easy walk to town and sea front,the room we got had sea front view and was quite spacious,everything you need for your stay,kettle,plenty of coffee/tea/towels,soaps,shampoo etc beds comfy, nice clean bedding,also didn't hear any noise so good night's sleep,good choice of breakfast in morning selection of tea,coffee, cereal,toast,selection of jams and a cooked breakfast one item of everything,staff friendly,building in parts a bit dated but didn't effect our stay,for the price you can't complain,would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for the jazz festival. Breakfast was good and meal on evening

Breakfast very good, location was ok, but for people with less mobility it was a taxi to get about as it was high above on cliffs

Continual music in bar area, bar toilets not very good, could only use urinal.

The staff were brilliant . The breakfast was lovely.

The stairwell had stale smell and could do with decorating and new carpet . The sink in the bathroom was small and hard to use because of its location under a shelf .
