The location was convenient as we were traveling by car. Although the inn was in the middle of a neighborhood, it would have been possible for someone to walk to stores or a bus stop. The two women who were there to welcome me and my kids were very friendly and kind.

It wasn't clear that we wouldn't be able to use the bath at a late hour. We came in after an evening of fun hoping to shower and clean up, so it was disappointing that we were not able to do that. There was a sign posted in the shower upstairs that explained the hours for showering, but we didn't see any signs like that in the downstairs bath.

The staff is very helpful and understanding. The room is good especially for the price and there is a shared big bath.

The connection to Sendai is very bad. There is only a bus running every hour and the last bus goes of from the station at 21:24. After 22:00 the front door is locked till 5 or 6am. So if you don't catch the last bus for whatever reason you will not be able to get inside. The staff can speak nearly zero english. They have a translation tool, but the communication is still difficult.

The lady is a very friendly person. Just like a mom. We feel pleased in her place. The traditional Japanese style room is also awesome.
