The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali

We had an amazing time at the Westin Ubud. The facilities are breathtaking, super clean and very well maintained. The staff goes above and beyond and it felt like they genuinely cared about your stau and your experience. We had breakfast staff remember our names, food preferences etc after 1 day!! The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen. So many choices and everything was fresh and delicious. We also had dinner during our 4 nights stay and it was exceptional. We traveled with 2 year old daughter and I felt like the hotel had a good blend of guests - families and couples. Our daughter loved the pool and kids club. We never had any issues getting sun beds and the pool did not feel crowded. By the way - the pool is gorgeous! We had such a good time that we already plan our next trip to Westin Ubud and recommended to all our friends in Bali (we have many friends here because we used to live here). I didn’t feel like the location was far away from the center. It honestly is good the way it is located. Sayan (the neighborhood) has some great cafes and restaurants that are not overrun like some others in the center and if you want to go into ubud center it’s a 15 min car ride. Taxi’s easily accessible through the hotel or apps like Grab.

Honestly just some small things that I genuinely want to give feedback on but they would not make us not come back. 1. The air rereshener in the kids club area. There is an electric air refresher in the kids club that goes off every 5 min and gives off an overwhelming scent. I was really bothered by it when I was sitting there and I know these type of chemical perfume compositions they are not healthy and hormone disruptive. I don’t think children should bbe exposed to that. 2. We did use the laundry service which was fast and good. But it was our own mistake that we didn’t check the laundry prices. Since we are very familiar with laundry service in bali and know the local prices - and I have to say we really did expect to pay 4 times more - that would have been no problem! - but the final price shocked us. We paid 2 million ruphia - which is half the price we paid for a night at the hotel - for our laundry. Hands down we are 3 people and had a lot of laundry but charging per piece although our daughters shirts are just a fraction the size of my husbands clothes didnt feel like right. I understand it’s probably a universal Westin price that they charge but still it felt massively out of proportion. Next time I’m gonna take a taxi to the next door laundry and manage the laundry ourselves.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and looked after. Our room was absolutely flawless, beautifully maintained and so comfortable. A special mention to the reception team, who were warm, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The pool staff were also fantastic always attentive, welcoming and ready to help, which made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. We were equally impressed with the restaurant team. The service was consistently excellent, and the food was delicious. Breakfast deserves a special mention as well such a wonderful selection, everything was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the staff made each morning feel special. The activities at the resort were another highlight. The activities team were fantastic at keeping us engaged and making everything fun and enjoyable. Cycling was one of our favourite activities, and it was such a great way to explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, every member of the team contributed to making our stay so memorable. The level of service, attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stood out. We absolutely loved our time at The Westin Ubud and will definitely be back! ❤️

Good staff, awesome food at tall trees in particular. Loved the room and the pool.

6km from downtown was a 40min drive because of the shocking traffic and roadworks. Not the hotels fault but it was what it was. The bill charged didn’t match booking.com. Needed to challenge them about the overcharging which was a disappointing end.

Not sure the quality meets the price, the room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was not exclusive. Staff overall were great. But needs more management/supervisor's attention.

Staff were not supported. Lack of management available. Price doesnt meet expectation.
