Camp Palms, ein kleiner Teil des Indian Pass, ist der Ort, an dem die ursprünglichen Siedler des Indian Pass ihre Häuser auf einem Bergrücken errichteten, von dem aus der Blick auf den Golf und die Lagune möglich ist. Dieses großartige Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern befindet sich auf einer Ebene und verfügt über eine große Veranda mit Blick auf die einzigartige Indian Pass Lagoon. Versuchen Sie Ihr Glück beim Angeln und reinigen Sie Ihren Fang vom privaten Dock aus. Besser noch, starten Sie Ihre Kajaks oder Paddelbretter vom Dock aus und erkunden Sie die Lagune. The house was absolutely amazing! We loved the screened in porch. Had a visitor from a Bobcat and black bear (they were just passing through) but keep your eyes out around sunrise and sunset! We brought our boat with intentions of leaving it at the dock so if you are thinking this make another plan as the water isn’t deep enough to get your vessel to the dock. The sunsets on the dock are priceless tho! The living room furniture could use an update but how much are you there anyways. The owners of the property and his son are fabulous folks, as well as his mother who stays in the house in front. Do bring your own TP, laundry detergent, dish soap and all the extras as the property management will not supply except one roll of TP, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent. The blue crab you catch in the pots provided at the dock are amazing eats! Get your things for the beach a day ahead as stores are about 15 minutes away minimum it adds to your day. Also, plan on cooking! Restaurants are few and far between with LONGGGG wait times.

While the house its self was great. I found it weird that it hidden behind the older house.

Overall we had a nice vacation. Check in took about 20-30 minutes as the code didn't work on the door and we had to call out of hours support with Pristine Properties. But once we got through to them (after a long wait), they were able to resolve the issue. The house is a little dated, had a musty smell and some things were not very clean on arrival compared to other properties we have stayed in (e.g. the fridge wasn't very clean). We also had a workman at the property working on the decking outside for 2 days which was noisy and an inconvenience. The house is okay and it's nice to have the dock out the back. But the house could do with a little work. The sliding door was very difficult to move. Our kids couldn't get in and out on their own without assistance. The spring and latches on the screen door were broken. The decking on the kayak launch at the dock is broken and needs to be fixed. The mattresses on the beds are worn and not the most comfortable. Minor things, but with the issues we had getting in and the work/noise that we had to put up with they contribute to me not being able to give a higher review score (every other review i've submitted on VRBO has been 5*s)
Overall, i'd stay in this area again (it's lovely and very relaxing) but i'll try to find a different property next time. Most of the issues were minor and could be fixed easily with a little effort. If it hadn't been for the access issues and the workman i'd have probably rated 4*.
